Our First Trip

HERE WE GO!!!

May 1 - 15, 2006






At Clear Creek State Park Campground Site #26, our space for the week. The weekdays were very quiet, the weekend was crowded with families for a fishing tournament. Still have to order my very own "Pocket Fisherman" from Ronco!





This is Clear Creek. It was about 50 yds from the rear of the trailer. As you can see, the scene is quiet, serene and worth the trip.






45 years earlier Jim was in the creek. Now that he is older (not necessarily wiser) he did not get into the spring feed creek. Something about hypothermia. Jim & Michele enjoyed a walk creekside.





Resting after her walk, here is Michele, ever the crossword puzzle addict, enjoying the cool mountain air.







Time to start planning our trip to Scotland and England. Two and a half weeks in Scotland at Fettes College with the Bagpipe Band, then another two and a half weeks roaming the English countryside. We leave on July 27 and return on August 30. But, more about that later. Check the blog in September. So many places to see and so little time.



The view from the rear picture window. This is so hard to take, but someone has to do it. Clear Creek is in the background. We plan to come back to Clear Creek in mid-October. The leaves should be beautiful then.
